Clinical achievements
STOMMA has been successful in many significant projects in the Czech Republic.
We were the first ones who have reached the following achievements:
- A mini-screw implantation into ortodontics therapy (2001; the first in the Czech Republic)
- Using palate enoseal implants for orthodontic anchorage (2001; the first in the Czech Republic)
- Autotransplantation of the second premolar tooth from an upper to a lower jaw (2002)
- Autotransplantation of premolar teeth within an upper jaw (2003)
- Autotransplantation of the second premolar tooth into a position of the middle incisor tooth (2003; the first in the Czech Republic)
- Vertical bone formation before implantation by a tooth extraction using continuous extrusion (2004; the first in the Czech Republic)
- Bone formation in a distal part of a tooth (sinus lift) before implantation (2004; the first in the Czech Republic)
- The ankylotic tooth shifting by fixed tool after osteodistraction (the first in the Czech Republic)
- Vertical implant shifting by fixed tools after osteodistraction (the first in the Czech Republic)
